Kaalsarp Dosh Pooja

Above is the example of kalsarp dosh or kalsarpa dosha. as we can see in above stated kundali (horoscope) all the planets are succumbed inside Rahu and Ketu. Rahu and Ketu are considered to be shadowy planets but these are so powerful that the Sun, which combusts other planets due to its luminescence, is eclipsed by coming within 14 degrees from Rahu or Ketu and a solar or lunar eclipse results. In above situation Rahu & Ketu gives effect of Serpent Rahu as head and Ketu as tail and all planets squeezed inside the coil or kundali (horoscope) of this serpent thus does not give desired results.
It is not like that every kundali (horoscope) having this situation is having Kalsarp dosha it also depends on degrees of planets. It is always advised to take expert advise if a person has this situation in his or her kundali (horoscope).
However it is important to note that in many cases all the planets come between Rahu and Ketu Axis, But still there is no Kaal Sarp Dosh formed in the Horoscope whereas one or two planets may be lying outside the Rahu-Ketu Axis in some horoscopes and a Kaal Sarp Dosh may still be present in the horoscope. Hence this defect can not be predicted on the basis of placement of all the planets between Rahu-Ketu axis alone, and the other important factors for the confirmation of this defect should also be checked and only then the presence or absence of this defect should be predicted. And once the presence of Kaal Sarp Dosh in a horoscope is confirmed, the first thing to consider is, which aspects of the person's life having Kaal Sarp Dosh in his horoscope are going to be affected, because even if Kaal Sarp Dosh is present in someone's horoscope, it would only affect some aspects of the life of that person and it does not affect every aspect of his life as there are many other planets also which are to be considered before predicting all the aspects of someone's life. After that the timing of Kaal Sarp Dosh is calculated, which would tell, at what time of his life this Dosh would gain its complete strength.
Effects of Kaalsarp Dosh
According to horoscope whenever the mahadasha or antardasha of Rahu and Ketu comes then Kaal Sarp Yog is more effective. And give many evil effects to person who is kaal sarp yog .At that time remedies or Yagya carried out with devotion are highly useful. Due to Kaal Sarp Yog the person suffers from diseases such as heart, eyes and ears trouble many times that cause loss of money. The person remains mentally disturbed from time to time. The financial position remains little fragile. There could be debts but these are paid back though with some difficulty. Goals can be achieved but after delays.
Remedies
Mansa Devi is an ancient and powerful Serpent Goddess, worshipped in different forms and names all over the world. The most important day of Mansa Devi poojan is Naag Panchami. She is also worshipped for protection from incurable diseases. So after this pooja or havan all the evil effects of kaalsarp dosh will remove.
Greh Pravesh
Greh Pravesh ceremony is performed on the day when you start living into your new house. This is a very important occasion for any family. To start living, the entry into the new house on this auspicious day is termed as the Greh Pravesh ritual. It is believed that the new acquisition is susceptible to evil forces and jealousy and therefore various 'safeguard' ceremonies must be performed. This ceremony aims to appease the gods and planets so that the owner of the house is blessed with good fortune.
On the day of the ceremony, house is cleaned and decorated with a garland of mango leaves, hung across the main doorway as a protective barrier against evil. Poles are erected outside the house around which banana leaves are wound and tied. Both the mango and the banana tree are considered auspicious, since they are symbols of fertility and prosperity.
It is laid down in the scriptures that the Greh Pravesh ceremony should take place at an auspicious time i.e. muhurat. One should consult the Pandit for the auspicious date and time for the ceremony.
Before entering the house, a ceremony called Vastushanti is performed. This ceremony aims to appease the gods and planets so that the owner of the house is blessed with good fortune. Like any other puja, this also begins with Ganesh puja, to remove all obstacles. The next ritual is the oblation to the Yagya (havan)
Manglik dosh
Manglik is a common word today. But who is Manglik astrologically or what is Manglik Dosh is not known to common man. Normally all believe in this myth. During matching of Horoscope of boy and girl before marriage people consult Pundits and Traditional Astrologer which result into rejection of most agreeable match of boy and girl and mental pain to love birds. Manglik Dosh is a main factor considered by them while doing Kundli Milan (Gun Milan).
According to Traditional Astrology, when the planet Mars is located in certain houses of the horoscope, it casts malefic influences on various life aspects of that person. A person having such an afflicted Mars status is known as a Manglik.
The name Manglik dosh means a Dosh or a defect caused by the effect of planet Mars. Manglik Dosh is found in the kundli or Birth Chart of the Native. A comparative analysis of the Birth Chart, the Moon Chart & the Navamsha is done to conclude whether a person is Manglik or not. Mangalik Dosh is formed when Mars is placed in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, 12th house of a birth chart of an individual. In Indian or Vedic astrology, cycles of time are broken down into planetary periods called Mahadasha. Each planet rules over one of these cycles, the length of time varies according to each of the planets. The longest is 20 years (ruled by Venus), the shortest is 6 years (ruled by the Sun). All together the aggregate of years is 120 (very few people live through the whole cycle). It is very useful to get a detailed reading of a mahadasha because it gives a more long-range view of what is in store, this is simply impossible for a yearly reading to do. Things could go very well one year and terrible the next. If you had a long-range view you could take advantage of the good year to compensate for the bad year that would follow. The cost for such a detailed reading is variable depending on the amount of detail you want. A Mahadasha is itself broken down into Bhuktis--sub-periods. So a detailed reading of a Mahadasha could include all of the sub-periods and major transits, or just a in-depth overview of the Mahadasha (without the Bhuktis). This would still be in much greater detail than could be done in a general natal reading. It is advisable that a Manglik boy or girl must always be married to a manglik partner only.
After doing the calculations it can be found that out of all the matches made in the world, 25% couples are a Manglik-Manglik couple, 50% of the couples are a Manglik-NonManglik couple and the rest of the 25% couples are a NonManglik-NonManglik couple. This would mean that the marriage of every second person on the earth is delayed and disturbed even to the point where the partner may die. And we are only talking about one concept named Mangllik Dosh. And there are other very powerful concepts like Kaal Sarp Dosh which can do far more damage than Manglik Dosh if it is strong. And taking into consideration all the other possible Bad aspects and Bad Yogas formed in an average horoscope, we can reach an estimate that 75% of the people on this earth are having great difficulties in getting married, their married life is very much disturbed and in the worst case their partner may die. Isn't this figure a bit too big too be true. Well, according to me, it is. So let's further analyze the actual scope of Manglik Dosh.
The bad effects of Manglik Dosh can be reduced with the help of astrological remedies which would generally include the application of Pooja, Mantras, Gemstones and Charities and these remedies are different for different individuals depending upon their horoscopes.
Pitra Dosh
This is one of the most important concepts of Indian astrology and it is called Pitra Dosh which is generally defined by many astrologers as the Curse of Ancestors meaning that the forefathers of the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope are unhappy with him and therefore they are cursing the native and due to that curse the native may suffer from debt, diseases, failures all around, being childless and in the worst cases early death due to accidents or serious diseases. And in case of Pitra Dosh, the misconception starts right from its definition which states that it is the curse of Ancestors.
Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors, but it is a Karmic Debt of the ancestors which the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope is supposed to pay. In simple words a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope of a person due to bad Karmas or bad deeds done by the Ancestors of that person and this person is supposed to pay that Karmic debt by suffering the punishments decided for those debts in different spheres of his life until the debt is cleared either by punishment or by the good deeds done by the person having this Pitra Dosh in his horoscope. So a Pitra Dosh in a horoscope does not mean that the ancestors are cursing the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, but it means that the Ancestors of such a person are themselves cursed.
The difficulties created due to departed ancestors come in various forms as listed below:
- Inability to get married.
- Marital disharmony.
- Addictions (approx. 70% addictions are due to ancestors who have passed away).
- Going blank in examinations despite being well prepared for them.
- Loss of job.
- Difficulty in conceiving a child.
- Miscarriages.
- Bearing mentally challenged children or children with special care and needs.
- Death of children in their childhood etc. Etc
Sade Sati Pooja
What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati is a very dreadful word for the common masses. When, Saturn transits through the 12th, 1st, and 2nd house from the natal moon (where one’s Moon is placed in the birth chart), this is termed Sade satti. Saturn takes 2 ½ years to pass through each sign (30 years to make one round of the zodiac), its passing through 3 signs make it 7 ½ years. Sade means “half” and Sati translates to “seven” and hence the name Sade Sati. There is a general belief that Sade Sati period brings dissatisfaction, disappointments, depression, differences, disputes, disharmony and undesirable results ,but actually this is not the case. Saturn does not always behave this way and it really depends on individual’s chart. For example if Saturn is acting as a yoga karaka, there is no way it can cause all that problems in native’s life. Most of the people go through 2-3 periods of Sade Sati in their life time, 4 periods are very rare. It reappears after every 25 years from when it first finished.
Sade Sati Influence
While it is true that during this 7-1/2 years Saturn transit period people do experience some tensions and troubles, it is nothing to be scared about. Even while giving some troubles and tensions, it does not deny you success. As a matter of fact a number of people prosper to new heights during this period. Sade satti is about doing one’s obligatory duties without considering likes and dislikes. One who does this forever is least effected by Sade Satti and in fact gains during this period. However if anyone is arrogant, egoistic, unsympathetic, and non-hard working then he is targeted during the person’s Sade Sati and can make him go through a lot of hardships.
Remedies for Sade Sati
Remedies should not be applied without taking into consideration how exactly the Sade Sati is going to affect you. If Saturn is trying to correct some of the wrong doings of your life e.g. trying to make you work very hard by creating obstacles, then it should probably be left untouched as its doing it for your own betterment. However if you feel that your life is really going through hell, you must consult a competent astrologer before applying any remedy.
GandMool Dosh
GandMool Dosh is a defect which is found in almost every 4th to 5th horoscope according to its prevalent definition and is capable of causing serious problems according to some prevalent beliefs in Indian Astrology.According to its definition, if the Moon is placed in any of these 6 Constellations or Nakshatras named Revati, Ashvini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha or Moola in birth horoscope of a person, the person is said to be born under GandMool Dosh. Which means that placement of the Moon in 6 out of 27 Nakshatras confirms the formation of this defect. The child born under these nakshaktra is naughty and his nature becomes the cause for the problems of his family. The child usually remains ill and doesn’t have interest in education. Though they work hard but they cannot achieve good results. Soon after the birth of this child, the family starts facing health and financial problems.
But if soon after his birth within 27 days, if gandmool pooja is done then this child can be a very lucky one. This child brings glory to his parents and earns immense fame and money.
If any such child is born in your home, immediately meet any learned jyotishi and after showing him the Kundli get the gandmool pooja done. The gandmool pooja can also be done after the same nakshaktra is observed after the completion of 27 days. If you wish to know more about gandmool pooja or the way to pacify its effect you can contact the Astrologer.
Navagraha pooja/ Shanti pooja
Navagraha pooja is combined pooja for all the nine planets and is divided into nine parts. Navagraha pooja is an extremely useful and beneficial pooja. It is helpful when a person is under the negative influences of several planets. The Navagraha performance enhances the positive influences of the planets that are favorable in dashas and transits. Planetary Yagyas are to neutralise the negative influences and strengthen the positive influences of the lords of the Mahadasha, Antara dasha, Pratyantara dasha and transits (Gochar). If a particular planet in its Mahadasha, Antara dasha or Gochar is adversely affecting a particular area of life, this Yagya is performed to bring favourable planetary support and reduce the negative influences of that planet. The malefic actions of significant planetary influences have traditionally been regarded as one of the prime causes for lack of success and disharmony within the home.
